Aim: The QNUK Level 3 Award for the First Person on Scene (International) (RQF) or FPOS Intl, is designed for Close Protection Operatives and those working in similar fields, within the UK and internationally. This qualification develops the knowledge and skills required by those working in security services or high-risk environments who are required to hold an advanced First Aid qualification.
The qualification ensures learners are able to provide suitable assistance for a range of medical conditions and trauma related injuries including developing an awareness of ballistic and blast injuries.
The qualification meets the requirements of the SIA for Licensed Close protection officers and has been supported by leading security companies.

- Unit 03 Basic casualty assessment and monitoring
- Unit 04 Assessment and management of a casualty who is unresponsive
- Unit 05 Airway management techniques
- Unit 06 Basic life support procedures on a paediatric casualty
- Unit 07 Managing a casualty with a minor injury
- Unit 08 Dealing with catastrophic bleeding
- Unit 09 Dealing with blast or ballistic injuries
- Unit 10 Managing shock
- Unit 11 Recognising and managing common trauma injuries
- Unit 12 Recognising and managing common medical emergencies
- Unit 13 Recognising and manging anaphylactic shock
- Unit 14 Recognising and managing casualties affected by heat and cold weather
- Unit 15 First aid for sudden poisoning
